Program Manager - Fabric by the Yard

Jenny Pennywood is a studio founded by fine artist and painter Jen Garrido in 2008. Based in San Francisco, CA, Jenny Pennywood has grown into a textile line focusing on creating small batch, locally dyed and sewn home goods, everyday wear and more. We are excited to bring in some key individuals to support our growing company.

The Program Manager of Fabric by the Yard will be taking the keys to our printed textile line and growing the business from the ground up. Working in collaboration with Jen Garrido and the Studio Assistant, this person will conceptualize and execute a number of projects. They will be fine-tuning, refocusing and developing our product assortment as well as creating assets, executing outreach and communicating with interior designers, showrooms and more. 

If you are passionate about interior design, refining already established programs, spearheading program management and working with a creative team in a thriving, growing women owned business, we’d love to hear from you. We feel this position could be part time or a contract role and we are open exploring the right fit. This role is hybrid and based in San Francisco, CA. We are open to West Coast/PST applicants!


  • Gaining a deep understanding of our Fabric by the Yard program, offer improvements around production, assortment and design. We want your expert opinion as we work to bring this to the next level!
  • Coordinate and manage full life cycle project of our fabric by the yard program from inception to execution
  • Scope and plan project milestones and timelines; ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
  • Own communication with showrooms, interior designers and customers who are sampling and/or purchasing - this may include cold emailing and calling, as well as networking with our existing customer base
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of website updates, asset management and outreach
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and own communication with clients and customers

Desired Skills and Experience

We are excited about finding someone who is motivated to take this project and run with it, and we feel that there is a variety of experience that would lend itself well to this position. 

  • 3-5+ years of related experience including a proven track record of managing projects end-to-end in a creative space - interior design, showroom or textile or textile goods production experience is a MUST
  • Strong leadership/management skills with ability to multitask from inception to completion
  • Ability to maintain existing and build new client relationships; partake in new business development process
  • Must be a well-informed communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player
