RETURNS & SHIPPING

Our Return Policy:

  • Returns of unused, unworn, packaged and tagged items are only accepted when customers use the Return & Exchange Portal within 7 DAYS of receiving your order. All returns must be formally approved through the portal by Jenny Pennywood prior to shipping back.

  • All discounted items are final sale & ineligible for returns or exchanges. 

Processing A Return:

  1. Contact us through the Returns & Exchange Portal. Contact us through the Returns & Exchange Portal within 7 DAYS of receiving your order. For example, if you received your items on January 1st , you have until January 8th to contact us letting us know you would like to make a return. Should you have a question or issue that goes beyond the Return Portal, please email studio@jennypennywood.com

  2. Obtain Return Address. After contacting us through the Returns & Exchange Portal, we will respond within 48 hours to provide you with the return address where you should mail your return. Please remember to obtain shipping insurance, as we are not liable should your items get lost or stolen.

  3. Mail or Ship Your Return. For a full refund, ship or mail your return(s) to the address we provide you within 1 WEEK of contacting us.* If your items are not received within a week, you will be eligible for an online exchange or gift card to apply towards future Jenny Pennywood purchases.^

* If you are receiving a refund, please allow 1 WEEK for the refund to be issued.  

^ Returns or exchanges are ineligible after 30 DAYS from your original purchase date.

Returns: Fabric By The Yard

Please note that all fabric by the yard is non-refundable, so we highly recommend ordering swatches before placing an order.

Should you be unhappy with your purchase, please contact us to work together to find a solution. We are happy to offer an exchange, which includes a $25 cut fee.
Please note that all fabric is thoroughly inspected for quality & inconsistencies prior to shipment, however final responsibility rests with the customer. Any flaws must be brought to our attention within 5 BUSINESS DAYS (Monday-Friday) of receipt.

Important Note: All Jenny Pennywood fabric is printed by human hands, so slight color shifts are possible from each printing batch we do. We embrace all of the wonderful shifts that happen with small batch production. Please visit our FAQ page for further explanation on color shifts. 

Returns: Furniture

All furniture is made to order and is non-refundable. No exceptions.

Returns: Limited Edition Art Prints

  • Unframed: When an order is placed for a limited edition art print, the order is immediately sent to our printer for printing. If framing is included in your order, the print is immediately framed as part of the print order. We are, therefore, unable to apply the 1 Week Return Policy applicable to our other online goods. If you place an order for a framed or unframed print and change your mind quickly after the order is placed, please email me immediately (within 8 hours) at studio@jennypennywood.com. If an email is not received within that time frame, we will be unlikely to intercept the order and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping back to our printers and a 25% restocking fee will be subtracted from your refund.
  • Framed: We are unable to accept returns on framed prints. No exceptions.

Returns: Original Artwork

Please contact me within 1 WEEK of receiving your framed art if you are not happy with your original art piece.


Please open the shipping parcel within 1 WEEK of receiving it in the mail. During shipping, sometimes frames can become damaged. On rare occasions, you may receive the wrong color frame. These are unlikely scenarios, but please unbox your artwork within 1 WEEK of receipt for inspection.


After opening, do not immediately recycle your box. If damage occurs during shipping, you can return-ship the work to the framer using the same box you received it in. This is the easiest way to manage a return for a framed original artwork. If you do dispose of the box, you will be responsible for purchasing a box for your return shipment.


If you would like to return your original artwork, we will refund the cost of the original artwork minus the cost of the frame. For returns of original artwork, please contact me within 1 WEEK of receipt for a refund or exchange and follow instructions for shipment directly back to my studio.


Again, please contact me immediately if you have any concerns or if you would like to process a return. After 1 WEEK of receiving the work by mail, I will not accept a return or damage request.

Shipping Information

  • Domestic Shipments (Within US): Most orders are shipped within 1 WEEK post-order via USPS Priority Mail or UPS depending on your selection at checkout. Due to current disruptions of domestic mailing & shipping, we now offer mailing & shipping options with tracking and insurance. Currently, we do not ship by First Class Mail due to recent unreliability issues but we hope to utilize this mailing method again in the future. Thank you for your understanding. 

  • International Shipments (Outside US): We are always excited to see an international order! Thank you for your support. You can place an order using international shipping directly through www.jennypennywood.com. Simply add your desired items to your cart, input your address and the shipping charge for your country will automatically populate. If you have further questions, please email us at customerservice@jennypennywood.com. For international shipments, we ship using USPS Priority Mail International and First Class International. If you are interested in ordering a larger item (i.e. Original Framed Artwork, Furniture, etc.), we are open to exploring additional carrier services like FedEx International. Please email us directly at customerservice@jennypennywood.com to discuss international shipping options on large-sized orders prior to placing your online order.

  • Current Shipments To Australia: Please note that due to shipping complications caused by COVID-19, shipments from the US to Australia are currently incurring much higher than normal costs due to the disruption and halting of mailed goods into AU territory. We are monitoring the situation and will reintroduce more viable shipping options once the disruption ends.
